Brian’s Mind

Well, let’s see. My name is Brian Heiberger, a fact that is probably apparent in the web address. I came-into-the-world on October 19, 1982. I will summarize the subsequent 23 years as follows:

Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Star Trek, Smashing Pumpkins, Philosophy.

As you can see philosophy is my current main interest, and is probably the only one of those listed that could be utilized as a career, with the flourishing philosophy job market and all. I received a BS chemistry degree this past May, but will (hopefully) not be directly using it, and will be continuing my education in philosophy. My main philosophical interests are currently philosophy of mind, freedom and determinism, and existentialism. I don’t know exactly what I will talk about on this blog, but it will most likely involve these interests in some way.

I have also had an interest in photography, and I may involve that with this site as well.
